I was wondering if anyone knew of software for a desktop slide show in 11.10. I tried DesktopNova and Wallch which did not work

Wallch works for me installing from the Wallch ppa for GNOME 3.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:wallch/wallch-ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install wallch

Was having trouble getting wp-show to work with 11.10, just installed Wallch and this program is much better.

Thanks!

There is a good answer on Ask Ubuntu here:
http://askubuntu.com/questions/71008/how-do-i-customize-desktop-wallpaper-slideshow
Where you download a Nautilus script that lets you select a folder to use as a set of background slides.
It works for me with the "zoom" option but not if I choose the "span" option.

Anyone had any succes with "Span" mode together with the slideshow. I have 2 monitors. (see above)
Span mode shows a blank desktop. Zoom shows a picture on each monitor. I have double width images that should cover both monitors.
