missing icons

with the upgrade to 11.10 I seem to have numbers of missing icons

for example in the system settings most of the things there only have descriptions with no icons. Is it possible to fix that?

also in the launcher many items do not have icons. how do you edit items in the launcher?

If that doesn't work, try installing gnome-icon-theme-full
