So I get that ubuntu is a male dominated OS and to be honest I only use it because I grew up with it... But are there really no cute themes? I found a Hello Kitty one and a baby but those aren't really my thing... I just wanted something pink and bubbly looking.

Am I just not googleing right? I'm not even sure if this is the right place to ask... Could somebody maybe help me out? Sorry if there's a really obvious answer...

Thank you very much! One of them's pretty nice so I guess I'll pick that one. Thank you.

Male dominated? Say what? The theme is colored this way to make it easy to see. If you really want to change your theme to something pink, I second haqking's links. The Pink-White contrast is difficult to see however, so I would recommend not doing this unless you use your computer rarely.

What I would suggest doing is changing little parts in your OS that won't affect the stuff you need to see quickly (that needs more contrast). Such as adding a persona (http://www.getpersonas.com/en-US/) to Firefox, or changing the background in LibreOffice. Or even just changing your wallpaper.

Uh, I didn't mean to offend you. But pink's a stereotypically female colour and any linux OS is stereotypically male dominated... Am I incorrect there? And I use my computer all the time, I just happen to like cutesy pink colours and such and I figured there must be other people who feel the same. And I have mine customized with pink background with white text right now and it's no problem. Perhaps I'm just used to it?

Sorry if my post came across as if I was offended. I'm not. I'm just surprised that you would want a theme with that low contrast. Maybe it's because I wear glasses...?

"Male dominated" had me really confused there though. I couldn't really tell what you were getting at there.

As for bubbly looking stuff, KDE has a really nice default theme called "Oxygen." You might want to look there, although it is blue. Maybe somebody has a modified version of it so it looks pink?
