Hi. I successfully upgraded to Ubuntu 11.10, but now there's a problem. I can't connect to the internet. When I log in using Unity, I can't find the wireless connection manager thing at the top of the screen (where the shut down button and keyboard changer are). I have no problem connecting to the internet using xfce, but I can't find the danged thing in Unity.

Where is it?

Please excuse the n00bness of my question.

Search 'Network' on the dashboard (tap the Super Key). It should be an app called 'Network Connections' or similar.

Regards.

I think NetworkManager looks after that... nm-applet may start it up for you
