Successful install of 11.10

Hooray, everything is working with exception of being able to change the font size in Untity. Is it possible? How do you do it? I'd like to use Thunderbird with larger menu font sizes.

Near the end of the upgrade, the screen went black, and soon there was no disk activity. I waited fifteen minutes before I finally garnered the nerve to pull the plug. To my relief, it rebooted into the new operating system. Total time: 2.5 hours. All is good!!!

Same here. Took it a while to install everything, but as far as I can see All Is Well. It works, my files are all in place, connected to the Internet without a glitch, sound works. Testing will reveal if this is really the case, but for now it seems fine.
