Ubuntu 11.04 but the mysql is still mysql5.1.54

Hello, I installed Ubuntu 11.04, but when I check the mysql, it is mysql5.1.54. I check the synaptic package manager and it shows the latest version available for mysql is 5.1.54.

My question is MySQL stable version is 5.5 now. Why latest Ubuntu is still with MySQL 5.1.54?

If I update to mysql 5.5, what will be the possible issues?

well ,try to make update may be that gonna help you to make your version to 5.5


sudo apt-get update


sudo apt-get upgrade
