Hello,

I need to connect my 5 dumb terminal to ubuntu 11.04 server to run Gnome desktop on each with seperate login.
It will be great help if anybody can guide me to setup my network.
Any web link or documentation will also be helpful for me.

Thanks in advance......

I don't get what you need. Do you need us to help you with your network, or do you need us to let you go into 5 separate sessions?

Thanks lkjoel (http://ubuntuforums.org/member.php?u=1072696) for your watch on my problem. Let me explain the issue in detail:

I have an one machine running on Ubuntu 11.04. (with 4GB RAM, 500 GB hard disk, Intel core i5 processor)
I have another 5 dumb terminals having motherboard, NIC4, 1 GB RAM, DVD drive, Intel atom processor. but no hard disk.

As my 5 dumb terminals has no hard disk drive and Operating System, so I need to boot these dumb terminals with the help of Ubuntu machine.

As Ubuntu is a multiuser operation system, so I want to allow 5 different users to work on single Ubuntu machine via these dumb terminals.

Will the machine be accessed from the same network, or from anywhere?

Same network,

I will connect the Ubuntu machine and my 5 thin/dumb terminals with a single 100mbps switch.

But don't know how to configure such architecture :(
