Skype in Virtualbox XP

I have an XP running fine inside Vitualbox and now I want to install Skype inside it.
The first level of installer downloads and runs ok (of course nothing so simple as download and run the full thing) - but when it runs to download the full application it come up with an error saying
"We are having problems connecting to the download server"
So I can't install it!

Anyone else having this problem?

I've tried both, at least I think they were setup properly each time

Hmm sorry, don't no what else to do.
If you wanna run Skype why don't you try the skype beta for linux?

Not sure why NAT or bridged should make any difference if there is an internet connection?

Yep I got skype of linux and it works very well - but I was wanting to get the multiple desktop sharing

Just tried to install on another PC with exactly the same result.

Everything else on internet works.

Are they able to detect the virtualbox and block it somehow? and why anyway?
