Reactos?

Has anyone tried Reactos? And if so does it function half way? I need something to put on one of my old "clinkers" to run my wifes PictureIt 2000..
Or even a small simple picture program for Buntu...She says Gimp is too complicated for the few touch ups she does...

i can't see the complicated part in GIMP (especialy with all the tutorials available online). But htere are some "lighter" alternatives (e.g. Paint.net, Pinta, Gimphoto - to make it more Photoshop like, maybe even Googles Picassa would do). depends really what dpoes she do with the pictures.
