That just made me laugh (maybe I'm tired...)

taken from http://www.webpagetest.org/ :

Run a free website speed test from multiple locations around the globe using real browsers (IE and Chrome) and at real consumer connection speeds.....

So Firefox is not a real browser...interesting since it is written on a web page that seems to have been designed in 1983...

:p

Nope. Firefox is just a client for Mozillas huge mirror of the web.

Who KNOWS what they could be changing? ;)

It is funny since they have Firefox 3.6 and Firefox 7 in the browser menu as selections.

I think they just wanted to say something along the lines of: "we use a real browser (like IE and Chrome) as opposed to a mock-up browser that doesn't reproduce the exact conditions of a real user."

UZBL's the only real browser. There are some very funny website mistakes out there though this might just take the cake.

Nope. I've never heard of Firefox. You must be imagining it. Even when I google it, I get no results.

What's this google thing you talk about. I type it into the search box in firefox and get no results.
It's a shame more people don't know about the less advertised software etc.
