Greetings again, my friends!
I'm looking for some advice on a problem I've recently begun experiencing. First, though, some basic information:
Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx
Gnome 2.30.2
nVidia GeForce 8800GT
Lately I've been sitting, minding my own business, reading web pages or watching something on VLC or whatever, and *click* I get logged out and booted back to the GDM login screen. I am able to log back in just fine, and re-open my programs; however it seems to be just a matter of time before it does it again.
My questions here are basic. Where do I find the logfiles that I need to diagnose the problem? What should I be looking for in those logfiles?
