I have just got this into my inbox.

Personally never tried Lubuntu but Lifehacker did and wrote about his experience in the mostly positive way.
Today article on lifehacker Blog page.

Lifehacker isn't one person. The author of this article is Whitson Gordon. He makes most of LH's technical and Linux-related articles. He's probably one of my favorite writers there.

It's a good article. Thanks for sharing it.

I do agree with Gordon's opinions on it.
