Hello!

Is there any (easy) way to add a *places menu* in lubuntu (lxde) like the one we have by default in ubuntu (gnome)?

Otherwise: how can I (easily) have a look over my office lan and connect to several pc running different os (like windows)?

A gui interface like the mentioned *places menu* will be the best.

Thank you for any help!

It's in the file manager under "go"
There is no panel option.

You can also easily add bookmarks as well, which then sit in the bottom of the left hand pane.
