Hey there,

As you might be able to gleam from the title, I can't install Ubuntu 11.10. I am trying to install the 64bit daily build, but this also happened with beta 2. The problem is that the installer goes through all the stages correctly until it gets to Installing System at the end. The progress bar is frozen at around 60-70% and the More Info terminal shows nothing new. After around 10 minutes there is no change. I have confirmed that I am able to install Linux Mint 11 with no problems. What really confuses me though is that the HDD usage light is blinking to show that it is working.

Thanks,
Winter

EDIT: A couple minutes later, the installer crashed and told me to file a bug report, which I have put here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/871605
