cannot connect internet after torrent download in ktorrent.

i used ktorrent for torrent download in Ubuntu 11.04.
i m unable to open any page in firefox after torrent download finished in ktorrent. I hav to restart my system to use internet again. plz help me..m new in linux.

Did you close Ktorrent?

Try to close the port in your router before closing it. You can do that through the UPnP tab in the bottom of the interface. Click the "Undo Forward" button to close the port. This will prevent other peers from contacting your machine.

I would also advise to reduce the upload speed, since it can clog your network.
