11.04 and BTRFS as / filesystem should not have parse file error. there is a workaround by commenting some lines from /etc/grub.d/00_header and then sudo update-grub2 however i would I was wondering if there was a fix that would not require uncommenting everytime a kernel upgrade was in order. any help appreciated.

also, can i run my system flash drive in IDE instead of AHCI for speed up ? I only needed it in AHCI for firmware flash.
