So I had two drives before installing ubuntu, a C and D drive. I deleted the C drive and created a ext4 file system and installed ubuntu there. Then I changed the mount point to /home for the D drive and it is not an ext4 system. I can't access previous files from the drive, how would I access files from the D drive for my personal stuff.

I forgot to backup my files. :/

I did change it from NTFS to EXT4 when installing Ubuntu, I'm not sure if that would have changed anything.

I'm currently on Ubuntu 11.04. I installed it yesterday, didn't make a swap drive.

Is that an 11.04 partition install, or a wubi install?

Are you having any problems?, have you found your drives?
