Hey,
I've been working for a few days to try and get my Broadcom 4313 chip working with aircrack. I'm in a wireless networking & security class and would love to get things set up on my laptop to practice.

I'm running 10.10 because 11.04 likes to mess with me (even though the brcm80211 driver comes packaged in the install of 11.04). I could go with the STA driver but it doesn't support monitor mode for my chip to the best of my knowledge. I looked at this thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1617380 but with the recent breach of the kernel.org servers, the git projects mentioned in the thread aren't back up yet.
Does anyone have an alternative method for me to get the brcm80211 driver and firmware?
The brcm80211 driver comes in the 2.5.38 Kernel I believe so I suppose I could upgrade to that but 1) Not sure how thats done, and 2) that still leaves me without the firmware update doesn't it?

Thanks.
