Hello everyone!
I was working for my application for android... I could not understand yet why Android (and iPad, iPhone) has to be root even to get a screen shot?
I can understand why the users should not log on as root, but why they can not start an application (or process) with root privileges. This question is appears for iPhone and iPad users too.
For the machines which can make calls is very dangerous also for service providers when the users are root, because there are international telephone standards. But for tablets (iPad, android tablet which can be on the same class with netbooks) is not a problem for anyone if the user is root. At least tablets (should) can run an application (or process as root)...
What do you think?!
