Hi Guys,
I just finished installing 11.04 on a Dell Dimension 8200 with IDE controllers. Because of the easier availability and lower prices of SATA disks, I used a 80G SATA together with a PCI card that uses the Silicon Image SIL 3114 chip set. The installation went without a hitch but when I attempted to reboot it came back with the message saying "file not found" and got the "grub rescue>" prompt. I wonder if anybody experience the same problem and if so what is the procedure to solve the issue.
Many thanks in advance.
Daniel
