My Girlfrind have a netbook Aspire one with 1,6 CPU and 1GB RAM, if i install ubuntu 11.4 it will work or it will be slow??

It should work, as for being slow, that's relative. I'd recommend trying it first from a USB flash drive.

It should work fine. I have an MSI Wind 100 with similar spec and it is fine with ubuntu and unity.
However, you may also find that something like Xubuntu or even Lubuntu is better still as their desktop environments are lighter and faster. I did not like unity, so I tried Lubuntu 11.04 and stuck with it ever since.

Ubuntu 11.04 will be faster than windows and it should work with minimum or no setting up (the Aspire One is "certified" by Ubuntu for 11.04). If Unity is an issue, you can always use the Ubuntu classic desktop, which remains an intuitive way to operate the desktop.

I personally Like Xubuntu. Running the LXDE desktop. about as lightweight as you can get :P
