help certain shortcut keys don't work in blender on ubuntu 11.04 unity

help certain shortcut keys don't work in blender on ubuntu 11.04 unity, for example setting the camera position in blender using ctrl+alt+0 would only bring up blender bottom toolbar......
where as if i was to do the same in blender on an ubuntu(no effects) the camera would be set to where i put using the same shortcut keys...........

another thing about ubuntu 11.04(no effects) when i move blender around, the window starts flashing until a run my mouse over where it will then return to being as it was before.......

i wanna use unity with blender......
my blender version is the latest as i build from svn

SOLVED as when i visited my friend google searched key board shortcuts in ubuntu 11.04....or something of that sort i.e. the web page below:

it becomes clear as to why the keyboard shortcuts don't work in blender.......

if any one reads this for ubuntu future releases how about a context sensitive shortcut system ie. it changes when unity for example is no longer on focus thus changing the function of the shortcut keys....
