As my install of ubuntu isn't great, because of reasons unrelated to ubuntu itself, is it not possible to re-upgrade?
By this, I mean reinstall but retain all files and data, just as it does when you upgrade via update manager. Booting from a live disc doesn't seem to give me a repair option so will wipe my data.
So, is it possible to reinstall-from update manager with just a reboot necessary?
Thanks to all who reply in advance :)
