I am using indicator applet for having notification when there is event of new mail in my inbox, or a pidgin buddy comes online or any pidgin related. Currently notification box comes at top right corner of the screen. I would like get that moved to bottom right. Is this configurable, if yes appreciate all kind of help.

It seems like you are talking about the on-screen notification pop-ups, aka Notify-OSD. If so, see this guide:

Greetings.

Yeah this notification I wanted to appear bottom right. I did the way it is mentioned. If i go back and see the setting, it appears as bottom right. However notification still appears in top right. I opted the method of creating python script. Even i tried with gnomeconf too command. no help!

Thanks in advance

Did you relogin after installing the patched version of "notify-osd"!?

Well, it's already some hours since then, so I guess we will know when you get online, if it's still the same. :p
