Hi all. First post. Here goes. I have just switched to Virgin for internet and cannot get Ubuntu to find the new router. I have a machine which runs both windows vista and ubuntu. The Vista shell finds the router no bother. I am using that now. The Ububtu wirless utility finds the virgin network. It asks for the password. The icon on the top bar representing the connection shows two blobs with flashing arrows connecting them, but no power bars, and firefox keeps telling me no server found. I am using a wireless usb dongle supplied by virgin. There is no problem connecting to the internet when I use ethernet, but I would like to get wireless with ubuntu because vista is bad for my health on account of the number of cigarettes that I smoke waiting for vista to load a web page!
