I am trying (and failing) to set up my computer to dual boot with both Windows 7 and Ubuntu 11.04, with the main operating system files located on the SSD. In case it matters, this is the tutorial I used to set up the windows OS http://www.overclock.net/ssd/664738-how-setup-ssd-boot-drive-secondary.html
I followed Oldfred's instructions on partioning the SSD:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1664065
and more instructions here:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1846683&highlight=ssd+boot
I can get Ubuntu to sucesfully install, but Grub only sees the windows 7 install.
I installed all of Ubuntu onto my SSD and my \home file on the HD.
Nothing I seem to try works. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Computer Info:
SSD: 64G (13G free after Windows install)
HD: 1T (200G partioned for Windows as NTFS)
