Is Magisto direct competition with the Novacut online video editing project?

I just stumbled with Magisto (http://www.magisto.com/), looks interesting easy online video editing.

so is it a competitor to Novacut (http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/tag/novacut/)?

I just tried Magisto. Sent in a three minute clip and in five minutes, i got the finished product back. Its now a two minute clip and it worked pretty good. On the downside, there is no download available and you have to use the Majisto site to view the video.
