Hello,
Since the Gnome Panel is locked dowin in Ubuntu Netbook Edition I have followed this tutorial: http://maketecheasier.com/unlock-gnome-panel-in-ubuntu-netbook-edition-une/2010/04/25 in order to make it customizable.
It involves copying the UNE session config in the regular GNOME session configuration files as far as I know. The problem is that I can't select my GNOME session from the session list. Only Netbook, Netbook 3d and xterm are available. I had an openbox/GNOME session before and I think I lost GNOME from the list when I replaced openbox with metacity again and completely removed openbox. I can't find the solution for this problem anywhere, all that I find is variations of the above tutorial or people getting back to the session manager after they try to log into GNOME, but they all have GNOME on the list.
If anyone knows how to fix this please help.
Thanks in advance and excuse my English, it is not my mother tounge.
Thanks again.
