Gnome 3 on intel

Hi guys; I was wondering if gnome 3 will be able to run without going into Forced Fallback Mode on a laptop running on an i3 processor with 1Gb shared memory?

You shouldn't have trouble with Intel HD 3000 or the older GMA 4500. For the Sandy Bridge (second generation HD 3000), make sure to get Ubuntu 11.04 or some other relatively new release, Ubuntu 10.10 and older don't support the Sandy Bridge graphics.
