Hello, I have an Acer Aspire 3050 and I am having driver issues. I have read alot of post about my problem but nothing seems to fix it. I am new to Linux (only been using Ubuntu for about 2 weeks now?) everything was working perfectly but then the computer crashed and i had to manually turn it off. Here are the specifications.

Laptop: Acer Aspire 3050
OS: Ubuntu 11.04
CPU: AMD Sempron 3500
GPU: ATI Radeon Xpress series 1150 (although now it just shows ATI Radeon Xpress Series)
Memory: DDR2 2.5 GB (2 GB of kingston, not sure what the other stick is.)
HDD: Hitachi model (not sure how to check the exact model in Ubuntu)

If someone could just tell me how to uninstall my graphic drivers and install the correct drivers it would be great.

Open GL does not work, videos run good some times and other times they get down to about 5-15 FPS. Java games either run slow or do not start at all, Flash games run well. My desktop is in classic mode and will not go back to the mode it was in when I first installed Ubuntu.

Much appreciated
