Printer Issues

Am having issues with printing. not sure where the issue is.

OK so a ubuntu 10.04 desktop printing via a CUPs server. Printing was working ok until last week.

Printing works from command line ie "lpr" but not from any GUI application, firefox, pdf, libre office, etc.

Any ideas? thanks
