I've switched to Lubuntu to compensate for some outdated hardware, and it's working like a charm; for me, at least, it handles heavy tasks far better than Ubuntu did. I'm pretty sure I'll be sticking with it for now, but one thing does bother me: the yellow rounded corner on notifications. It's obviously nothing major, but why did they do that when they made the rest of the default UI blue? Is there a fix for this? Is it an image or just a pre-defined color?
Also, is it possible to use either notify-send or pynotify to attach buttons to the notifications the way native applications can? If so, a pointer in the direction of the proper syntax would be greatly appreciated.
