So I'm trying to install 11.04 on a mish mash of hardware. When I boot from my usb drive, it gets to the options of: Install to hard drive, run from usb, etc. But at the bottom of the screen it shows "Automatic boot in 5 seconds..." countdown over and over again. And when I try to run from the usb, or install it just refreshes the menu, and the countdown starts again.
Anyone ever run into this, or have any suggestions?

Have you done all the usual things to ensure the USB install stick is good? md5sum, etc?
And can you you start the machine in liveCD mode, rather than trying to install?

yeah, I had to get a new usb cause the old one was messed up. And when I try to run the Live version the same thing happens. If I try to run the installer or the live version nothing happens, it just refreshes the screen. But the memory test starts up fine.
The only thing I can think of is I got the 64bit version (downloading the 32bit now). But you'd think it get farther along before thowing an error.
