View Full Version : [ubuntu] Can't access synaptic package manager

...on my friend's computer.

The minute we open it, it tells use to check the repository which we did change, from Natty to Maverick - he wants to install XBMC and the only way to do it was to change something the "other software" "repository" area.

Also: the output of:
lsb_release -rd

(Because I don't get what you mean by change Natty to Maverick)

This is what happens when I open synaptic package manager.
This pops up and then suddenly closes off.

sudo synaptic

2d tab:
remove your borked ppa (team-xbmc...)

note: if you use ppa, then i suppose you might understand simple warning like the one you got about team-xbmc
