I have the same problem, but i guess mine is more complex. alike others it doesnt finish the installation and i install my ubuntu without bootloader, but i cannot do the things that were said before. when i run "sudo fdisk -l" i get this message "Unable to seek on /dev/sda" and nothing else when i try to mount it, "mount /dev/sda" i get "mount: can't find /dev/sda in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab" but it does show my device, that i installed Ubuntu on(after installation), mounted on the desktop Does anyone know ow to fix this problem?

Hi and welcome to the forums :-)

I have moved your post to its own thread as your problem is likely not the same.

Please post the specifications for the computer, the results of the boot info script (http://bootinfoscript.sourceforge.net/), and any other relevant information.

Thanks.
