Due to a problem today, I had to restore /root and /home from Clonezilla images. No problwem, it all worked perfectly. However, the images were about six weeks old, so a few things have changed. I think I can remember the new programs I've added since then, but /home has changed more.

I have tried to allow for that with a nightly copy of /home, using "Back In Time", but it won't let me restore /home. When I run "BiT", I get an error message that says "Can't Find Snapshots Folder"

Now, I know the folder is there, on an external HDD. So, I have two questions.

A. Can anyone tell me how to point "BiT" to the folder, so I can restore /home?

B. If not, can I manually replace my existing (out-of-date) /home, with the (up-to-date) copy on the external HDD? (I can't imagine it's that straightforward....)

Thanks

EDIT. Managed to point "BiT" to the snapshot folder - just had to be exact about the path (A Folder Too Far?).

Cheers
