According to here (http://www.wmlcloud.com/linux/how-to-upgrade-from-ubuntu-11-04-to-ubuntu-11-10-oneiric-ocelot/), 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot has been released and is available to download.

The -d flag in the


update-manager -d command at the top of the page is for updating to the development release.

That page is misinformation.

I am aware that the daily releases can be downloaded, but the page linked doesn't indicate anything other than it's ready for general consumption.

Maybe someone can point that out as I don't have accounts to any of those required so as to post a comment.

Added [FALSE] to the thread title. The link explains how to upgrade to the development release, which should not be done unless the user is prepared for breakage.
