Intel Driver Issues on 2730p (intel 4500MHD)

Hi all I the owner of a 2730p now, And I was trying to install kubuntu 11.04 64bit on it.
Bu I have some grphic issues when i try to use an external monitor on the vga port of the laptop.
Distorsions, garbage graphic and so on (It is not a frequency issue).
Do you have any suggestion.

It should the mobile version of the X4500HD chipset: gs45

Same defect also on the beta (11.10 beta 2)
I attached a screenshot of what does happen.

At least your backlight is working. I have a black screen trying to install and run all versions of 11.04. Tried the 11.10 beta and the problem is still there.

I'm also running Intel 4500 MHD graphics on a laptop.

I do not have any problems with the graphics (internal and external) on my 2730p ((with 64 bit Ubuntu 11.10 and 11.04)

Are there different graphic chips in this laptop?

What is the output of lspci ?

For mine it's
