Last night I was running Virtualbox and my laptop suspended itself. When I booted it back up I couldn't seem to click on anything so I hard booted the laptop.
This morning my mouse is auto selecting ANY menu item it passes over and I can't figure out how to make it stop. If I boot into Gnome Classic it seems to work, although in some areas it seems like the mouse is still acting a little odd. Has anyone seen this before and better yet does anyone know how to fix it? I really don't want to have to rebuild the machine, but I can't get anything done. I've tried removing the nvidia restricted drivers and put the them back on with no effect. unity --reset never seems to finish. Is there a way to completely blow away the x config and rebuild it?
Any help is appreciated.
