compiling it gives the following error

Note: Recompile with -Xlint:deprecation for details.

And did you recompile with -Xlint:deprecation for details?

I dont understand Xlint. and dont know how to do it!!

How do you compile/run it?

On the line that you use to compile your program, you add: "-Xlint:deprecation".

If you are using Netbeans to build and compile, this will be in your project settings. There should be an area for building and it should allow you to enter any extra arguments you require.
