Dose NS-2 still work after upgrade

Hi there ..
if i upgrades my 9.10 ubuntu to 10.04 , dose my ns-2.29 still work on the new ubuntu ,
i already inssteld ns-2.29 on ubuntu 9.10 , am affred if i upgrade it , my ns-2 wont work anymore

I see those packages in the repo's through version Oneiric 11.10... (which goes to release next month).
