end trace error on install please help!

Hi There

On install I see a pink screen with a little logo at the bottom
I click that and it asks to install but then when I choose install it says end trace error and stops

I thought perhaps windows 7 was blocking the install so I put in a brand new hard drive, same thing happens

just suggestion:

tell us what you want install , that means what version, where, from which media and what hardware etc is concerned.

Then you might get proper support

Trying to install desktop 10.04 LTS ubuntu on an ASUS desktop pc

By replacing "quite splash" with "vga=791 noreplace-paravirt" and got it to start an install but then on install it stopped at 5%

I got it to install again, but this time it stops on pick keyboard layout
