Hello,
I just acquired a Lexar pcmcia card reader (model gs-ufd-20sa-tp) and am
trying to connect it to my laptop (Asus M50V) running 10.04 LTS. It connects to the usb port and allows reading of PCMCIA cards... I've got a couple of old pcmcia flash ram cards I'd like to access.
When I connect the device, dmesg gives:
[18564.202579] usb 7-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
[18564.353488] usb 7-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
but it doesn't seem to give me access to the ram card. Any ideas?

Edit: Tried the device on an older xp machine and it does work on XP.
