Hey,

how to I configure the Desktop in Kubuntu? In gnome there used to be a nvidia-settings module to aktually configure but within KDE this one doesn't work, it cannot configure the xorg file. Don't know why.
And well as soon as I just put in my main monitor with 1920x1080 the lower module bar is just like 1024 in width? How can I change this?

So how do I configure the Monitor(s)?

thx for help

PS: The one supplied by settings does not work at all (it couldn't even access the second display when i put it in), it just displays a configuration which is like Dektop1+Desktop2

Click the "cashew" at the right-hand end of the panel. You can widen the panel by grabbing the sliders that appear and pulling them to the right.
