I'm trying to extend my desktop to my TV through the s-video connection. I'm able to detect the TV but the desktop will not extend even when i use the mirror image setting. I have installed xserver-xorg-video-i810 my graphics controller is Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 integrated graphics controller. I'm using version 11.04. I'm a complete novice so if you can point me in the right direction or what i should be looking for I would greatly appreciate it.
