Hello All!

I am running 11.04 classic on my Asus U36SD (ubuntu nviia drivers). Software update is stalling and I am receiving error:

An unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package information.

I have a thought that it could be the experimental linux nvidia ion driver I have installed, but I am so happy it works I dont want to uninstall it lol. Any ideas? Thanks!

Edit the sources.list file and put an # in front of these two lines that are at the bottom.

wget http://www.wiewizard.com/linux/viewizard-gpg.asc
sudo apt-key add viewizard-gpg.asc

You may want to read the instructions again for installing the AstroMenace game if it didn't work and you still want it.

Well I just Googled "linux games" to test the nvidia driver. Calculus+Biology+Chemistry= no time for games lol but Avogadro works so I am happy. thank you for the recommendation and thorough help!

LOL, I understand now, just testing nvidia.

I took Advanced Calculus and Semiconductor Physics at the same time. My girlfriend didn't understand why I was ignoring her :)
