include own directory on unity search

Dear all,

I have a bin folder in my home directory which contains a whole bunch of scripts useful for starting e.g. wine applications or applications on virtual machines.

it would be very useful to be able to "find" those scripts also in the dash when typing the search field.

Is there anyway to achieve this?
