I have a Dell Inspiron N5110 laptop with two graphic adapters - Intel Graphics and NVIDIA GT525M. I'm using Ubuntu 11.04. I've also Windows 7 Professional x64 installed on another partition. Ubuntu installed the driver for NVIDIA card, but it told me it wasn't in use (this is probably why the Unity did not run on my machine) and told me to run some commands on the terminal, pity I don't remember them. And today I've tried to boot Ubuntu, but to no avail. It hangs on the screen with services startup and doesn't go further. I've tried multiple solutions found on the net, but still the problem stands. I've found the thread where it's told that I can try to purge the NVIDIA driver that is probably the case, but to purge one I need to know its name. How can I find it? And in general, did someone encounter such a problem? Any kind of help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
