Hello. I have installed gnome-shell in Ubuntu 11.10 beta version
and I wanted to get some extensions added such as system monitor and also the old alt+tab extensions.
I have installed them from cli, using gnome-shell-extensions-ext_name command, and then restarted gnome-shell ( alt + f2, then r).
However, nothing happened and when I have looked in the logs I have seen in the error pannel: ( alt+f2 , then lg):
"debug -t=etc Loaded extension systemMonitor@gnome-shell-extensions.gnome.org", and the other 2 I have installed.
Any hints on why is this happening ?
uname -a: "Linux inspirion 3.0.0-10-generic #16-Ubuntu SMP Fri Sep 2 18:32:04 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux"
gnome-shell --version : "GNOME Shell 3.1.91.1"
Thank you in advance,
Dan
