Hi there!
Having a problem with right-click menu: if right-clicking on a folder...no menu appears. Actually I can't open, rename, move...
Appling right-click on files....everthing is fine.
Desktop is Gnome.
Any clues on fixing this problem?
(I guess it happened after updating the kernel to 2.6.32-34-generic with synaptic)
Thanks to all
Ale

Hi
are you sure that your mouse is working good ?
well
in the grub menu you are going to have previous kernel versions . while choosing the kernel to boot , choose your previous kernel versions to boot and look the mouse option over there .
let me know what you got .

in your grub menu , you are going to have old kernels , test your mouse right click option by booting to those kernels .

press & hold shift key for grub menu while your system booting , and then boot from previous kernels .
all the best

actually, it's not the kernel itself. after rebooting, i had a crash and reinstalled the whole system.
now,just kernel 2.6.32-28-generic is installed
at the beginning...right-click menu on folder was fine, but now the problem persist after an update via synaptic. (i kept apart the new kernel for checking...)
really depressing... :(
